Springbok Casino crypto deposit options beyond plain Bitcoin
Entry at a glance
On this page
Block 01Where the coins are named
Two Springbok sources, two different coin lists
Springbok describes its payment options in two places. The banking page is the formal list: card, two EFT services and Bitcoin, each with a minimum 2. The 2026 articles describe a longer cashier, with Lightning and five coins in total 1.
The two do not match 2. We treat the banking page as verified and everything that only appears in the articles as Springbok's claim; the note on how we check explains the labels. The cashier sits behind a login, so we have not seen it directly.
Block 02Small deposits
Lightning Bitcoin at Springbok: R25–R3,000
Lightning is a payment layer that moves Bitcoin in small amounts without waiting for a full on-chain confirmation. Springbok's articles give it a range of R25 to R3,000 1, which would make it the cheapest way into the cashier with crypto: well under the R250 on-chain floor.
That lower floor matters for bonuses. Springbok says its welcome codes start from R25 4, so a Lightning deposit could claim SPRINGBOK100 with a smaller outlay than on-chain Bitcoin allows. The coupon still goes in first: redeemed in the cashier's Redeem Coupon section before depositing 5.
Springbok says
Lightning is described, not listed
The R25–R3,000 range comes from Springbok's articles only. The banking page does not mention Lightning, so check that the cashier offers it before you open a Lightning wallet for it.
Heads up
Lightning is a deposit route only, as far as anyone has published
No Springbok page mentions Lightning payouts. Withdrawals go out by Bitcoin and Wire Transfer 2, so have an ordinary on-chain Bitcoin address ready for later.
Block 03Stablecoin
Tether (USDT) at Springbok
Springbok published an article introducing Tether as a bridge between crypto and its rand casino 3, and its later cashier descriptions keep USDT on the coin list 1. Neither source gives a minimum, a maximum or a payout route for it.
Tether is built to hold a steady dollar value, but that does not change how Springbok counts it: once credited, the deposit is a rand balance like any other 2.
USDT also exists on more than one blockchain, and the pages we read do not say which one the cashier expects. Copy the network shown on the deposit screen, and send only if your wallet can use that same network.
- Find Tether in the cashier before sending; it is not on the banking page.
- Match the network named in the cashier exactly.
- Read the rand amount the cashier shows before you confirm.
- Plan your payout around Bitcoin and Wire Transfer, the two published routes.
Block 04The rest of the list
Ether, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash
These three appear in one line of Springbok's cashier description, credited instantly like the rest 1. That line is everything Springbok publishes about them. The table shows what is known and what is not.
| Coin | Named in | Minimum | Maximum | Payout to it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ether (ETH) | Articles only | Not published | Not published | Not a listed route |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Articles only | Not published | Not published | Not a listed route |
| Bitcoin Cash (BCH) | Articles only | Not published | Not published | Not a listed route |
Springbok says all three are credited instantly. Published payout routes: Bitcoin and Wire Transfer.
Heads up
Bitcoin Cash is not Bitcoin
The names are close and some wallets hold both. Send Bitcoin Cash only to an address the cashier issued for Bitcoin Cash, never to a Bitcoin deposit address.
Block 05Money out
Getting paid when you deposited a different coin
Whatever coin pays in, the published ways out are Bitcoin and Wire Transfer, each from R500 2. The T&Cs add that withdrawals usually go back to the original deposit method, with the final method left to the casino 5. For Tether, Ether, Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash, no page says either way whether a payout can go back in that coin.
The sensible assumption for planning is a Bitcoin payout to an on-chain address. Expect the crypto selfie check too: the withdrawal page asks for a photo holding the ID if crypto was used 6, and it does not limit that to Bitcoin.
Limits, timing and the request itself are in the Bitcoin withdrawal guide.

Block 06Decision table
Which crypto deposit route fits what you want
| If you want | Route | How firm is it |
|---|---|---|
| The best-documented crypto route | On-chain Bitcoin from R250 | Verified on the banking page |
| The smallest crypto deposit | Lightning from R25 | Springbok says; articles only |
| A coin with a steady dollar value | Tether (USDT) | Springbok says; no limits published |
| To pay in and out with one coin | Bitcoin | Verified both ways |
| A small bonus deposit without crypto | InstantEFT from R71 | Verified on the banking page |
For on-chain Bitcoin step by step, see the Bitcoin deposit guide; every coin side by side is in the crypto method matrix.
Block 07Before you send
Five checks before any coin other than Bitcoin
- The coin is offered in the cashier today, not only in an article.
- The cashier shows a minimum for it; if not, ask support before sending.
- The network or chain matches the one your wallet will use.
- Any coupon is redeemed before the deposit.
- You know how the winnings would come back: Bitcoin and Wire Transfer.
- Do not test a new coin with more than you are ready to lose if it goes astray.
- Do not treat a stablecoin as protection from losing at the tables; the balance is played in rand either way.
Questions about other coins
Does Springbok Casino accept Tether (USDT)?
Springbok's articles say its cashier takes Tether, and one article introduces it. The banking page lists only Bitcoin, and no Tether limits are published, so check the cashier first.
What are the Lightning Bitcoin limits at Springbok?
Springbok's articles give R25 to R3,000. Lightning is not on the banking page, so treat the range as Springbok's claim.
Can I withdraw in Ether, Litecoin or Tether?
No Springbok page says so. The published withdrawal routes are Bitcoin and Wire Transfer, each from R500.
Is my balance kept in the coin I deposit?
No. Springbok runs in rand only, so every coin is shown and played as a rand balance once it is credited.
